Dining At Runk

More than just a place to eat, Runk is above all the beating heart of the Hereford community.  Planned by well-known architects, Todd Williams and Billie Tsien, the building sits prominently at the foot of Hereford’s grounds and is known as one of the architectural jewels of the University.

Inside, you will find a warm comfortable environment with a stunning view up Observatory Hill, a friendly and helpful dining staff that is always willing to go the extra mile, and of course what we know to be the best food on grounds.  At the new Mongolian Grill you’ll find lots of grilled meats and vegetables and all your old favorites too, like grilled cheese and burgers, and morning French Toast.  The deli is always open for a quick sandwich or wrap, and the salad bar is always fresh, and always full.

Hall manager Jerry Trombley and Head Chef Josh Windley have helped transform dining at Hereford into something that we’re all very proud of.  With their support, we are constantly integrating more locally raised, organic and sustainable foods into the menu including produce from our very own Hereford Mini-Farm!  We even use Runk’s discarded cooking oil to supply the newly constructed waste veggie oil fuel station—our very own experiment in producing environmentally friendly biodiesel!

And, oh yeah, if you happened to forget your deodorant at home you can always pick some up at the new C3 store located right inside.
