We encourage you to submit your application online. You may also deliver your application to the Accommodations Office in Page-Emmet House or mail it to them. Applications for Fall 2008 lodging are reviewed as they come in and are subject to available housing.

ATTENTION INCOMING FIRST YEARS

You do NOT need to fill out an Hereford Application.  You may simply choose the Hereford Housing option as you preference by signing the following agreement on the UVA housing application:

"Hereford College Commitment: Living at Hereford not only gives a student many unique opportunities, but also gives the student responsibilities to the community.  All students living at Hereford are expected to participate on a committee giving a minimum of five hours a semester.  In addition each resident must have a Hereford College meal plan from UVA Dining Services which includes our once a month Hereford-only banquets in the Runk Dining Hall.  Students are expected to dine at Runk three times a week as well.  Students also pay each semester, a $60.00 activity fee included in room and board to support committee activities.

Hereford Room Requests

Hereford now offers the option of requesting rooms according to building or hall.  You are not guaranteed to get the building you request.  If you would like to be placed on the same hall as another student please list their name and student ID on your application (up to 4).  Roommate/Hallmate requests will only be considered if the request is made on all involved applications.
